Refund and cancellation policy

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by emailing support@instantimpact.io from the email address on your account. Cancelling stops your plan from renewing.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans are not refunded. When you cancel, your site, domain, and email keep working until the end of the month you have paid for.

Yearly plans

• Within 14 days of paying: we refund your plan in full, minus the cost of your domain once it has been registered, because a registered domain cannot be returned.
• After 14 days: yearly plans are not refunded. Your site, domain, and email keep working until the end of the year you have paid for.

Domains

• A domain is registered in your name and is yours, whether or not you stay with us.
• Once registered, a domain's registration fee cannot be refunded, because the registry does not return it.
• If we cannot register the domain you chose, we hold what you paid for it while you pick another domain we have checked for you, or we refund it. If the domain you pick costs more, we show you the difference and ask before charging it. If it costs less, we refund the difference.
• When you leave, you can move your domain to another provider. If you cancel and do not move it, it will not renew at the end of its current year unless you renew it with us.

Extra mailboxes

Extra mailboxes can be removed at any time. Monthly mailboxes stop at the end of the month you paid for. Yearly mailboxes are refunded within 14 days of adding them, and after that run to the end of their year. Your included mailbox ends when your plan ends.

The same-day promise

If we miss the same-day promise, your next month is free, as a credit on your account.

Price changes

If a price changes, we email you at least 30 days before your next renewal, so you can cancel before the new price starts if you choose.

When your plan ends

Your site goes offline and your mailboxes stop. You can still download your words, photos, and data for 30 days. After three paid months, or on a yearly plan, you can also get a copy of your finished site.

Refunds are paid to

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days.
