Copyright policy (DMCA)
Version 1, effective September 30, 2026
In short
If you believe a site we host uses your copyrighted work without permission, send us a notice and we will act on it promptly. If your content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. This policy is a first version and is being reviewed.
InstantImpact Live respects copyright and follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Sending a copyright notice
Email your notice to support@instantimpact.io. Our registered copyright agent will be listed here once registration with the US Copyright Office is complete. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- The address (URL) of the page with the material, and a description of the material, so we can find it.
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We will remove or disable access to the material promptly and tell the site's owner.
Sending a counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, email a counter-notice to support@instantimpact.io that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We will send your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we will restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright.
False claims
Knowingly making a false claim in a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages.
