Go to Sales, then Kitchen. New orders show up by themselves, with a sound.
Each time you open the kitchen screen, choose Turn on the sound: browsers play sounds only after you've tapped or clicked on the page. Keep the kitchen screen open while you take orders. It works in a tab behind other tabs or windows, but after a few minutes there, your browser checks less often, so a new order can take up to a minute to appear. For the quickest alerts, keep it on a screen of its own, like a tablet that stays on.
- Choose Start preparing when you start an order.
- Choose Mark ready when it's done. Customers picking up get an email saying it's ready.
- Choose Picked up or delivered once it's gone.
Each order shows when it's wanted, pickup or delivery, the customer's name, phone, and note. Choose Print ticket for a ticket to print.
