Every new web address needs its owner to confirm their email address once. It is a rule for all web addresses, so the address can always be traced to a real person. It takes one click.
The email. Right after you sign up, we send an email to the address you gave as the owner. It comes from InstantImpact Live, and its subject is VERIFICATION REQUIRED - Please verify your domain name(s) as soon as possible. Open it and click the link inside. That is all.
The deadline. Click the link within 15 days of signing up. Your dashboard shows the exact date until it is done. If it is not confirmed by then, your web address stops working (your site and email with it) until you click the link.
If the email did not arrive:
- Check your spam or junk folder, and any "Promotions" or "Updates" tab.
- On your dashboard, tap Send the email again. You can do this once every 10 minutes.
- Still nothing? Reply to any email from us, or use Help in your dashboard, and we will help.
If your web address already stopped working, click the link in the email (or send it again from your dashboard and click the new one). It usually works again within a few hours.
Once you confirm, the notice on your dashboard goes away, and you will not be asked again.
